Common Questions

What if I have pets in the yard during the appointment?

For the safety of our technicians and your pets, please ensure there are no dogs or other animals in the yard on the day of service. We understand that homeowners have pets that need to be let outside, but we kindly request that you keep them indoors during the service.

What happens if it is raining on the day of my appointment?

We will make every effort to complete all scheduled jobs, weather permitting. However, due to inclement weather, your appointment may need to be rescheduled. Depending on your location, the new appointment date could be up to a week after the originally scheduled date. We appreciate your patience during this time. If you need your pool service to be done by a specific date, please schedule your appointment a few weeks in advance to account for any potential weather-related delays.

How often should I get my pool cleaned?

Weekly maintenance is the most popular choice among pool owners. Owners of saltwater pools might manage well with bi-weekly maintenance since their pools continuously produce chlorine. However, owners of chlorine pools may find it challenging to maintain clear, blue water with bi-weekly maintenance. The added chlorine will be used up and dissipate, and if the owner does not maintain the pool during the off week using the provided chemicals, algae could start to grow.

Why does it take more than one visit to clean my green pool?

It's crucial for new pool owners to understand that a green pool cannot be cleared in a single visit. This process requires time, effort, and patience. When we open your pool, we add initial chemicals designed to kick-start the process, but these chemicals lose effectiveness after 24-48 hours. We highly recommend that, after this period, you take a sample of your pool water to a local pool store for testing and follow their chemical recommendations. Alternatively, you can send us the chemical readings and recommendations, and we will advise you on the necessary chemicals. We can also assemble a chemical package and deliver it free of charge during your next scheduled service.
